MAKE-UP/HAIR
A professional photo becomes your calling card with casting directors and agents. Your
hair and make-up becomes a routine for you each day. Men, as well, tend to lean toward a comfort look in hair.
My job is not to limit you in that one comfortable look, but to create your many personalities that perhaps you
have discovered and were afraid to show in photos; because you may have thought you might lose a job or an audition.
Think outside the box: Not only for Midwest, East Coast and West Coast.
Simple is usually the best and natural way. (With make-up on!)
1. Come with a clean face and clean hair.
2. Bring curling irons, hot rollers, etc.
Face Puffiness: Early morning hour shoots will cause a very full puff effect.
Start with splashing cold water on your face, along with an eye mask to bring down puffiness.
Men: You must do the same cold water first thing in the morning. If you
have a full 5 o'clock shadow and need to shave twice a day, come to me with your morning 5 o'clock shadow and shave at the
shoot. No fresh hair cuts.
Clothing: This will be a big part of our check list when we meet in person.
Along with what looks we will be shooting. Each of you will have different strong points. Some outfits that would
be wrong for alot of actors might be right for you. We will discuss this in person.
Do's and Don'ts: The Do's and Don'ts on a Foto Shoot will be different for each of
you again, consultations help with this when we meet.
I do not want you to bring suit cases full of wardrobe.
At our consultation, we will narrow it down for all the looks we will achieve.
MOST IMPORTANT!
REST a few days before a shoot, bring music, if you have a small dog or cat that you would like to shoot
with GREAT! Bring Them.
See you at the Consultation!
